About Us
Letter From The Board Chairman:
Greetings,
This year has been one of many changes that have affected each of us in one way or another. As always, we stand steadfast in our mission of assisting poor, elderly, and disabled along with others who have been affected by many disasters that have hit us or our neighbors within Baldwin, Escambia, Clarke, Monroe, Conecuh, Marengo and Wilcox Counties. But, regardless of what is going on around us, we will not lose site of why we exist as a community action agency.
Within the communities that we serve, we have felt the impact of change that are experienced by many communities within our nation. Now, more than ever, we must learn more innovative ways in which to fight poverty and look for resources that will guide us in accomplishing our mission.
"Helping People, Changing Lives" is what community action agencies strive to do on a daily basis. This is accomplished by various programs, and services, as well as the hard work of our staff, board, volunteers, partners and parents.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help in our efforts to continue our fight against poverty, and ease the burden of many who desperately need the help.
Sincerely,
Rhondel Rhone
